Only have CMS enabled?
Hi everyone,
I am moving my blog network from wordpress to vbulletin and am starting by just recreating the sites in the vbCMS. However, I do not want the forums to be enabled for the first phase of my development. How do I disable the forums without disabling the CMS? Thanks! |

You can't really totally disable them. You can go to Admincp > Forums & Moderators > Forum permissions and then for each usergroup/forum, set Can View Forum to No (do NOT do this in the Usergroup Manager or noone will be able to see anything on your site). If you do what I just posted, then there will be nothing in the forums for them to access. You could also, I suppose, put a redirect in your .htaccess for anyone who tries to go to forum.php or forumdisplay.php (etc), they get redirected to content.php
