registeremail - where is it called?

I have customised the registeremail message, but now I am trying to find which template calls this in. I've done a search in templates using "registeremail" but its not there.

Can some kind soul help?

registeremail is a phrase that's used in an "error" message (it's called in register.php around line 532). (It's displayed by a function called standard_error() but it's not necessarily an error).
