Can someone kindly instruct me how to make the amount of views show up on each thread?

AdminCP >> Settings >>+Options >> General Settings >>

Thread/Forum Read Marking Type
This option controls how threads and forums are marked as read.

Click the help icon on the right for more information on each option.

Have got to that page but am a bit confused how and where to change the views per thread. Sorry, just starting out.

What do you mean by not showing up? If you mean they aren't increasing, it's because they are updated periodically.

You can set them to update instantly in Admin CP > Settings > Options > Server Settings and Optimization Options and set 'Update Thread Views Immediately' to Yes.
