Hello,
Please see that screenshot :

As you see only password edit is possible here.This usergroup Users Awaiting Email Confirmation can not edit their email addresses.

Please help.

The "change email" fields won't be shown if the usergroup is a "banned" usergroup, so maybe check your Users Awaiting Email Confirmation group to see if "This Usergroup is not a 'Banned' Group" is set to yes.
