Can I install 2 vb forums on same host?

Hi, I am allowed to install 2 different version on same host?
Like:
http://example.com/forum1 with vb 4.1.x
http://example.com/forum2 with vb 3.8.x

Or I have to buy 2 license to do so.

No. This implies that you can install an unlimited number of forums as long as they reside on the same domain, which is wrong. You need a seperate license for each forum instance you run, no matter what domain they're on.
