Is there something I can do (similar to smilies) to covert abbreviations in posts to pre-defined full length text replacements? For example:

When creating my post, I would type: :TIAA:
and the post would display: This Is An Abbreviation

Just curious. If it would be simple, I'd probably do it. If not, that's OK too.

You can use the replacement variables feature in the CP for this
