Hi,

Is there any way a user that is not an admin user can close a thread for further posts?

You can give a usergroup the ability to close their own threads. Otherwise I guess they'd have to be a moderator of that forum.

Hi,

I tried that, but than a user can only close a thread that he opened.
I want to have a forum manager to each forum, and give that forum manager the ability to close any thread of other users in that forum, but I don't want to give him administrator privliges.

Can't you make them a moderator of the forum?
