so I wrote a code to allow super moderator user group to edit template xxx, when they press that button, it says they don't have permission. How do I give them permission to edit only that template?

How exactly did you write your code to allow super moderators access? I think admin/global.php requires you to be an admin, so if you write an adminCP script that includes global.php, the answer may be to move it to the modcp directory.
