Thread/Forum Read Marking Type Not Working

Hi, I have Thread/Forum Read Marking Type setting set to 'Database (automatic forum marking)' But when I read a thread, it is not automaticly set to that post has been read.. I'm using vBulletin 4.1.5.. Has anyone else had this problem? Is this a known problem? Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.
