Membership/Payments API

I'm looking for a modification that I suspect must already exist somewhere, but I can't seem to find it. Perhaps someone can guide me?

When someone buys a paid membership from a vBulletin forum there is two-way communication between vBulletin and the payment processor (e.g., PayPal).

I'm looking to get MORE INFO *back* from PayPal. More than just the success/failure of the transaction and the transaction number.

PayPal collects, for example, full real name, address, city, state, ZIP code, phone number, etc., as part of the payment-taking. I'd like to retrieve, collect and capture all of this info into custom user profile fields (non-public).

Has this been done? Is this even possible?

We're using vBulletin in support of a motorcycle club. We've just started selling "club memberships" via vBulletin and PayPal. I'd like to reduce the redundant/duplicate record-keeping and STOP having to maintain a master membership list *outside* of vBulletin.

Don't really want to make members input all of the data twice, either.

That's the objective.
