Create a new style with no parent:
  • Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
  • Parent Style: No Parent Style
  • Title: Default vBulletin
  • Allow User Selection: Yes
  • Save
Then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - do you still have the same problem?

Thanks Lynn it appeared to be fine when doing that but then after 5 or so minutes poof the WYSIWYG editor was gone again. Guess I am up .....Creek without a paddle on this one as I am also being told I need to have a whole new template designed which clearly costs big bucks lol. Anyways Guess I will continue to find alternative resolutions to this issue. Appreciate your help Lynn.

Yip same thing appears when I am logged in as admin then 5 minutes later after doing a refresh it is gone again

Apparently my template will not work with the new version 4.1.10 at least that is what I am told? Does this mean I need to go out and have a completely new template designed for my site because I elected to update to this newest version? It is weird because if I log into the admin panel go to styles and templates and select another the WYSIWYG editor appears but then 5 minutes later after going to different threads and trying to reply it just disappears. I really hope someone can suggest a better fix to this issue than me having to spend more money to get a new template designed. Thanks for taking the time to read this and hopefully helping me with an easy fix?

That really doesn't make sense that it keeps disappearing. You are making no other changes on the site after you create the new default style - no changes in the admincp? No changes in your usercp?

No Ma'am all I did was create the new default style as you suggested and then if I click on that one the site comes up just fine and at first the WYSIWYG appears just fine but if I log out and log back in under my test user account and go to see if it is there it is gone. Then the same applies when I re log back in as an admin it is still just non existent. I am not real good with vbulletin so as I have recently hired a site tech who is on these boards and he is good at what he does but obviously I do not pay him enough to be at my and my members every beck and call lol. My members are just getting frustrated that the advanced posting option ability is now non existent and I was told it was because it was now an outdated template I run with this new vbulletin update but after speaking with a designer he said absolutely not that it is a software issue. So I am sure you can understand my frustration about this lol.

In styles section in the admincp do you have default mobile styles picked in the drop downs?

If you do try making those 'none' ...save and see if that helps.

Appreciate the recommendation Kevin But I don't even have default mobile styles in the drop down.

Apparently because I have a a custom theme it needs to be recoded because it was not coded for some of the changes that came with 4.1.10.......An email from my site Tech this morning

"Hello,

to ensure every will work, I will try to recode the current theme from
scracth to avoid any error may happens on the future.

It may take up to 48h to complete, however it will save us ton of time on
the future.

I will let you know when the upgrade is finished.

Please be a little bit patience

Regards,"

Hopefully this works but I must admit it it a bit frustrating when you have to outsource the work you need done without knowing that the code change in the software you purchased was going to screw up your current custom template you paid to have done initially.

Understood. Do you have your normal style chosen in those sections though?

Your style really isn't that custom that it would need to be redone. At least from what I can see.

Good luck getting it figured out.
