Please help how to change navbar font family

Hi everyone. I'm overriding the navbar in additional.css to be like this :

HTML Code:

#navbar ul li a
{
      font-size   : 18px;
      font-family : MetaProNormal, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
}

The font size does effected by the code but the font-family still didn't change. Why is it like that ? Please advice. Thanks
