E-Mail Notification on Thread-Close

hello everybody,

i´m looking for a possibility to create an e-mail when a thread is closed. this e-mail should be sent to a specified address and should act as kind of notification that the issue discussed in the closed thread is solved/closed.

i googled a bit and used the search-function but did not find anything helpful.

any help where to start looking would be appreciated!
