Enable signature after X posts?

Is there a mod that enables signature after X posts? Not just enable it, but the user can't even put one in their profile until then? There must be something to stop the sig spam?

Posted a thread about same thing (in wrong section though).

I KNOW it is possible, have seen other forums that do this. I'd be happy with just disallowing sigs until say 25 posts, (like on Android Forums) but have no idea how to do it.

But I thought I saw a option to not allow url's in user details or something of that nature?? Not sure, am completely new to all the 'behind the scenes' action.

Really want to know about restricting sigs though

I think you can do it using permissions already built into VB by setting the default usergroup to 'no signatures', then create a new user group which they move into after a number of posts you set which you enable signatures'. Take a look in 'Usergroups' in the left hand control panel for Add new usergroup' and also 'permissions'.

Also worth taking a look at 'Can't use Private Messages before X posts' which stops spammers sending messages to users before they have posted x number of posts. https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=155308
