Facebook Auto Register option not working

Hello.

I was wondering why is the "Enable Auto-register" option under Facebook options is not working. I installed a clean v4.1.8 version on my server, created a Facebook app, got the App Id and Secret, put it into the Facebook Options, and that option enabled does not eliminate que registration step. It only links a vBulletin user to a Facebook user.

Does it have to do with some sort of problem with SSL perhaps?
