Disabling Mobile Device Detection
Does anybody know how to stop the forum from selecting a template based on mobile device detection?
Something we can comment out in utilities.js maybe? We want all our users to go to our main default template and don't want them to be redirected based on device. We have a particular package that serves ads that won't work if it detects that a viewer has been redirected based on their device. So even if we make the mobile template exactly the same as the default template, the software won't work. We've played with the settings in Admin cp > options > style & language settings but we can't seem to work out how to stop it from detecting mobile devices. If we set Default Style for Modern Mobile Browsers to None, it messes up other things in our forum and we get double posts and similar. We've seen this as a glitch commented on by others on vbulletin.com's forum We've got admin cp > mobile device detection too - but the options for the style & language settings seem to override whatever we put in here. So we've tried switching mobile device detection off via these options, but it didn't seem to make any difference We're using 4.1.7 Any help would be much appreciated! |

VBB mobile style is just a joke, mess up every time whatever how you set it.
Not set a default mobile style, the system can not keep the style you just selected by not chekcing the cookie. I could list lots of issues about vbb style on mobile devices. |

I've got the opposite problem - even with it set to detect mobile styles, it won't!
