Okay, a search didn't return me something to that topic so here is my suggestion for a "better" login, how about a ...

...Remember username option next to the login fields?

I guess this requires an additional cookie...

Hmmm, doesn't work...

...into my username_loggedout and saw that checkbox on the login screen, checked it, logged in, closed browser, accessed the forums via direct url to showthread, hit "reply", came to the login screen, still "unregistered" is the default?

i thaugt if you "saved" you login and pass on another Board that it doesn't work anymore
