new post titles

i am using 4.1.7 for my forum when we make a new post and go to the new posts if the title is too long it gets cut off is there any way to fix this to get the whole title in

the whole title is ....UFC on Fox 1 "Cain Velasquez vs. Junior dos Santos" November 12 2011 so the date is and year is getting cut off in this example ....can this be fixed and what template would i fix this in ...
