I have looked far and wide and can not find out where to change the text under "Welcome to the bootcamp4me forum"

I have drawn a red circle around the text that i would like to change

Its not in the header template.. its not a notice... where is it?

admincp/Notices/Notices Manager
should be there no other place I can think off but as you said it is not strange. Try checking the source see what it says

There is nothing in the notices manager except default_guest_message

this text shown is not the same text that is in that notice.

So im confused.
