Instead of having to click mark forums as read every time you view the whats new to clear up ones you've already read is there a way to automatically remove them from showing up after you have viewed it?

I converted from mybb and thats how it was there. Open the new posts section, click a new post, you wont see it again in the new posts section. this way you arent reading the same topic over and over again.

Check Settings > Options > General Settings. Thread/Forum Read Marking Type should be set to Database(automatic forum marking)
