well, figured i'd give it another whirl.

I started with 2 of my main forums from Ib. The first went through without a hitch...converted over 2000 posts
Then there was the second forum. called the page from my browser..hum hum hum everything was going fine, them Boom! got another error
This one however was not nearly as severe. all (or at lease most) of the posts converted into the proper forum & there was no merging of the threads. at a glance everything looks fine, but the error was still there. I imagine it simply haulted the process & didn't convert all the posts. Here's the error i received

that just means it got to the end of the threads.. if i wasn't lazy i'd create an error handler to exit the script when the filename was "" , nothing to worry about, just means all the threads for that particular forum were converted...

cool, once i understand the whacky way they coded VB i should be able to do some more of the advanced stuff, god it's so cryptic trying to understand other peoples code

Worked just fine for me as well. Got the error at the end but everything came over correctly. Thanks for this script, I've been waiting for a few months now.
