Hiding thread prefixes

Hi,

I am new to vBulletin and PHP and I would like to hide thread prefixes when browsing thread titles in forums and still use prefixes when creating new threads.

I would appreciate it if someone guide on how to fix the templates to do that, and please note that I already tried removing {vb:raw thread.prefix_plain_html} from the template SHOWTHREAD but it did not work.

OK I found a quick solution:

Template: threadbit

Remove line: {vb:raw thread.prefix_rich}

Now I want to color thread titles based on their prefixes, how can I force color change within a template, any help is appreciated.
