I was wondering if anyone has considered open sourcing addons where multiple authors/developers can participate in the development then release various phases of development here on vb.org.
I have an addon I'm working on and I'm not sure if I'm going to have time to work on it for a while. I didn't want to let it sit so I was interested in going this route to allow other addon developers to keep it going and maybe make it better in the long run. Any thoughts? Jim |

PhP addons are by definition open source (with few exceptions).
I think you mean that "reusable code" box ticked. Really up to the developer. I've not yet seen any mod making useful use of that status. |
