Everytime I try to login to my website I get this error message:
vBulletin Message Invalid Redirect URL (http://nxxxxxxxxxxs.com/forum/forum.php) I try it again and always get in the second time. Why can't I get in the 1st time? |

I think it has to do with being able to access your site from more than one domain name, like www.domain.com and domain.com.
I haven't tried this at all, but I was looking at the code and noticed that it checks "Redirect Domain Whitelist" under "Help Site Name / URL / Contact Details" in the settings. So maybe it will help if you list the domains you use to access your site in the whitelist. |

I think the best thing to do is to add an .htaccess file to your site to redirect from non-www to www (or vice versa). That has been covered many times here and it's also easily googled.

Just in case someone else has the same problem, here is how to solve it.
ACP > Settings > Options >Site Name / URL / Contact details now Scroll down to "Redirect Domain Whitelist" and add the various way people log into the site. Again, I'm not sure if all of these are needed, but they fixed my problem. nxxxxxxxxxs.com nxxxxxxxxxs.com/forum www.nxxxxxxxxxs.com www.nxxxxxxxxxs.com/forum http://nxxxxxxxxxs.com http://nxxxxxxxxxs.com/forum http://www.nxxxxxxxxxs.com http://www.nxxxxxxxxxs.com/forum Hopes this helps someone.... |
