Every once in awhile I get crushed with excessive traffic on my forums to the point where I get several hundred "vBulletin can't connect to the database" emails. I don't want to turn off the feature, but is there a mod out there which will let me limit the number of those that I get?

Something like only send one per minute? When I get crushed, I get a hundred or so each minute, and if the outage goes on a long time before I can notice it I can get swamped by those notifications.

They're helpful yes, but not multiple thousands (as I've gotten once). Tkx.

I did search around a bit, but I didn't find anything.
