NEED HELP! Full screen header & footer
I'm almost finished customizing my look to match my main website. However, I cannot figure out how to adjust the code so that the blue bar at the top, as well as the grey box at the bottom are endless. Currently, they seem to be bound by the main forum width.
You can see it here: http://www.printcandee.com/forum Does anyone know how I can fix this? It should look like this: http://www.printcandee.com Thank you! |

You've set up margins for the body tag, that is why it isn't going all the way across. Set up another div within the body that contains the part you want to limit the width for and add the margin there instead.

Thanks!
I'm not sure which template to edit to add the new div tag. Can you help me? |

I can't tell because you have modified the style. I would guess either the header or navbar template and then the footer template.

Is there a general "index" type of layout where I can see the whole layout and make changes there? This is how I've generally been able to do this on other website designs elsewhere.
I've tried editing the header, footer and nav sections, but nothing has worked. That is why I'm here asking. |

I'm not sure what you mean about a index type of layout. There is no way to edit the templates via some big page when you just click on the template.

If you have ever designed a website, you would be familiar with the index.php file that has the basic template/skeleton of the site laid out. So, according to your answer, that's not available with vbulletin.
I guess the consensus is that it's impossible to do this? |

No, it is not impossible to do this. You just need to add a div tag at the beginning of the content you want to have the body margin and then a div tab at the end of the content. This would normally be in the navbar/header template and the footer template.
