Does anyone know how to change the location of the social group sidebar to the right side. And also, how to change the width of the social group sidebar?
Thanks |

If you go to a user created group. The sidebar is on the left. It displays the group icon, number of members etc..I believe they are called social groups.
I am using VB 4.14 Here's one ( different version then mine) but you'll see the left sidebar im talking about http://www.vbseo.com/groups/german-people/ Thanks for your help |

So sorry, where was my head? Yes, those are social groups. I know I posted how to do this before with just straight CSS. Try adding this to the additional.css group (I don't know if it works with IE):
HTML Code:
/* Move social groups sidebar to the right */
#sidebar_container.sidebarleft {
float: right;
margin-right: 0;
}
#content_container.contentright {
float: left;
margin-left: 0;
margin-right: -{vb:math {vb:stylevar forum_sidebar_width}+{vb:math {vb:stylevar padding}*2}};
}
#content_container.contentright #content {
margin-left: 0;
margin-right: {vb:math {vb:stylevar forum_sidebar_width}+{vb:math {vb:stylevar padding}*2}};
}

Lynne, you're the cat's meow. Thanks! Now I have a starting point to work off of. I want mine to either fan across the top or bottom of the page still anchored to the left side.
Once I get a handle on moving those I'll have some idea of how to reposition the forum sidebar across the bottom of the forum. Or top... |
