I've been using custom permissions for a while in PHP but never found out how to use them in a template. It is possible or do I need to pass a variable from the PHP?

	Thanks in advance |

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by custom permissions, but in templates you can only check variables that have been registered in the template. So I guess it depends on what you're checking to determine the permission.

Up until now I have being doing it just as you describe but I can't help feeling that's not the way it should be done. |
