A friend of mine told me that there's a new mysql exploit concerning the registeration page user name field, anyone know about this?

There is an old 'exploit' that allows a user to create a name that looks just like another name on your site. It's about a year old and was posted about in the announcements forum on vbulletin.com (along with what to do about it).
