Search string for each forum ?

well i got this off another forum and have seen it mentioned here...

using this string url
http://animeboards.net/forums/search...h&searchdate=1

i can bring back the posts done in the past day in all forums... but i was wondering if there is such a string to bring back posts done in each forum

so i can add a link to each forum page like

View posts in this forum for the past 1 day

can this be done without actual hacking ?

well wasn't that hard to find... all i needed to do was add &forumchoice=3 to the end of this url

http://animeboards.net/forums/search...h&searchdate=1

so http://animeboards.net/forums/search...&forumchoice=3

for forum id = 3 etc

just one problem how do i add it to the forumdisplay template so that

&forumchoice=x

where x is the id of the forum ?

oh well figured it out

http://animeboards.net/forums/search...hoice=$forumid

wow.......answered all your own questions...this is a new one on me

This is a real useful bit of info...thanks!
