Removing or changing the welcome box
Im setting up my vbulletin forum and I cant get around one problem.
Whatever I do I cant get rid of the "Welcome (username)..." box on the top of the forum. If I browse the forum as a guest, it says "If this is your first visit, be sure to check out the FAQ by clicking the link above. You may have to register before you can post: click the register link above to proceed." If I browse the forum as admin, it says "Welcome, Bostorm., be sure to check out the FAQ section if you have any questions. Also please take a moment and update your Postavke with your latest information." I tried looking for it in FORUMHOME template, I deleted the notice in Notices, but it still shows up. When I look at the forum code, the text is embedded in "welcomeBody" container, if this is of any help. Is there a way to completely remove it or at least translate it to something else? I can't find it nowhere in language phrase manages under "GLOBAL". Anyone got an idea how to fix this problem? Thanks |

I think you can change those using the Notices Manager under Notices in the adminCP.
