Admin ACP Move/Prune: Visitor Messages unaffected

I'm finding when I use the Move/Prune function in ACP, it does remove VMs that exist on the targeted user's profile page; but it does not seem to delete the VMs left by that user on other members' profile pages.

What's the best way to purge VMs?
