Don't think that was what he was looking for

Go into your admincp > Usergroup Manager, Edit the usergroup your want and place the following code in the Username HTML Markup box

First box
<span style="color:#5F5F5F;">

Second Box
</span>

The bit in red is a color hex code, you can find which code you want here... http://html-color-codes.com/
