Custom Tweet with popup

Hello. I want to make a custom Tweet button because i would like to make it fit the FB button sytle.
On twitter´s dev page is a custom one but if i tweet, i get a new page instead of a popup.
So i am asking for help. Would be very nice if anyone could help me. Thanks

Not quite sure if this is what your after but go to:

Admincp>Styles & Templates>Style manager>Edit templates>Show Thread templates>SHOWTHREAD

Find:

<div id="thread_controls" class="thread_controls toolsmenu">
		<div>

After add:

<a href="http://twitter.com/share" class="twitter-share-button" data-count="horizontal">Tweet</a><script type="text/javascript" src="http://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js"></script>

or

<a href="http://twitter.com/share" class="twitter-share-button" data-count="horizontal" data-via="im_here_forum">Tweet</a><script type="text/javascript" src="http://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js"></script>

NOTE: The above code will add an @im_here_forum to your tweets. So you will need to change the 'im_here_forum' to your own username.

If you wish to make your own button you want to look at THIS

This will give you this:


Displays just above the first post and references to the first post on tweet.

It will give you a pop up box where you can add your own hashtags etc.

These codes can obviously be placed elsewhere in different templates. I was just showing you where I have mine
