Is there a way to get the subforums' display order to be alphabetical in VB4?

Yes, go to your sub-forum via forum manager in the admin-cp.
Go to default sort field and select thread title, then below either descending or ascending.

Not threads, the forums and child forums

Yeah, you just go and you change the order of each forum and child forum so that it's alphabetically.
![]() I normally do different letters for each child forum, sometimes I have a few. For example, Letter A forums - A1, A2, A3, etc.. Letter B forums - B1, B2, B3, etc.. I don't think there's a default option for making them show up alphabetically. |

That still is based on numbering every forum though....
--------------- Added [DATE]1348104364[/DATE] at [TIME]1348104364[/TIME] --------------- I can't be the only one looking for this.... can I? |

No, your not the only one. But it's something I have yet to see as a mod yet.

You aren't going to see a mod for it as I am pretty sure you need to go in and modify the file. (This question has been asked before and I think I outlined the solution in that thread.)

Thanks Lynne, that worked, just had to number my Category names to get them in the order that I want.
