Tabbed Smilies

Before using vBulletin I used SMF - someone had written a mod for SMF that showed the different smiley groups in tabs. This made selecting and using smilies so much easier and faster than scrolling through a popupbox.

If anyone has an inkling how to do this I'm pretty sure it would be a well received and most welcome modification. See example image below from my old forum.
