how to make your forum private

i need to make my forum private and only veiwable to registerd members and not public
and not bots collecting info

what do i need to set my settings to so its a closed forum and no bots can log in a collected data

Very simple, just adjust the permissions in the usergroup manager, all the usergroups you would like to deny access to, change all the options to no.

so in say Unregisterd/not logged in user part

tick all boxes to (no) and this will close the forum to none registerd and bots users ?
