Default feedback wanted

Looking to just get some feedback on my banner, Im trying to keep my site very simplistic.
site is all stock for the most part, looking just for feedback on the top banner.

well...there isn't much to speak about it other than its pretty dull in my perspective... it tells nothing about the website.. you should look around designing banners ... looks like it was put together under 5 minutes.

I agree with Xtrato = nothing special at all.
It's a generic text logo that tells site visitors nothing about your site. You should definitely get another one made or hire someone to make a more sophisticated design. Perhaps a logo/header/forum index icons package would be nice....

Or simply make the logo less, uber super simple and a solid color if sticking with the default style... sometimes trying too much in a logo kills it.

It has very obvious filter effects applied to the lettering and elements. Part of the art of using filters is to keep it from looking like you used filters. Quite frankly, it's not very professional looking.

So I googled "pvp" because I have absolutely no idea what that is. And I see it's "player vs. player" --- perhaps have some sort of gaming aspect to your logo seems the most logical way to go imo anyway...

I googled pvp images - found this

perhaps try something like that for your logo.

Actually - I wasn't doing anything - so I did a simple logo that I think would look much better than what you have now. Using the shield silhouette as your forum icons would make for a more completed 'custom' look, even using the default skin...

@ Pionex - if you like it = feel free to download it and upload to your server.

Thanks - I had a few spare minutes yesterday so decided to do a quick design. I think the OP decide to use the design he has currently though.
