How can I add a custom new ADS place?

Hi everybody!

I'm adding two flavors for each style on my forum (one fixed and one fluid) and I have a little problem in blogs when using the fixed version. Right below each blog post, I have an horizontal AdSense ad (quite wide).

The ad displays very nicely on fluid designs, but on fixed, they get mounter over the sidebar.

Now, I know how to edit the templates and place my AdSense code in there but I would like to be ready for upgrades (also learn new stuff ) so I would like to know if it's possible to place some new custom hooks that I can use to call different ads depending on the styleid being used. Is it possible?

I've read https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=82703 and https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=83390 and they are absolutely clear but me, being as new to plugins programming, don't know what to do once I created my custom hooks XML.

Anybody cares to gimme a hint? And by hint I mean telling me what the heck to do here
