Not sure if anyone can help or advise, I was unable to access my forum yesterday, getting this message dns server not reachable & Server not found

I was told it's a BT network issue, nothing I can do. Today I have access but about half of all my members can not access the site and are getting the same messages.

Is any of this within my control? My host servers? Or is it a BT network issue. My members are from USA, UK, EU and can't access.

It looks like your web/DNS host is having issues though.
You need to contact your host. Problem is with your web host ( usually the same company is hosting your DNS as well ), if people all over the world are having issues and it is not just you.

Pretty much was future said. If no one could get to it yesterday, and now a few people can...that means there was a DNS failure yesterday that they've already fixed. DNS just takes time to propogate throughout the entire internet, which is why some people can access it now and some can't.

If you haven't yet though, I'd put in a support ticket with your host and make sure the issue has been fixed.
