Hi,
I searched this forum and the [dot]com forum, but i could'nt find what i am looking for. I am working with several templates (light and dark), but one of the templates is a very light version of purple and another is black. Most people are using the black version on my board and can see lightblue as font color, but lightblue can't be seen on the light purple version. So, my question: I want to change the font color to default in some templates, but not all templates. This means i cannot use the bbcode options, because these are forum related and not template. I don't want to block some colors totaly. Maybee i can put an extra line in "Additional CSS Definitions", is this a possibility? Greetings Ron. |

User Replacement Variables? If someone posts yellow in their style and you want it blue in another style, then just use the replacement variable to change it.

Thank you for your answer Lynne.
Did that allready and tested it in a closed forumpart, but still the colors are shown. I used the bbcode with and without the quotations markers. I'm realy stucked now. Greetings Ron. |

Replacement variables are used to replace the html, not the bbcode. So, look to see what the html output is and then do a replace on that.

Then it should be <font color="#******"> to replace it all.
But the RV can also replace simple words?! But thank you, i'll go and try your tip later today. I will let you know here. Greetings Ron. |
