You would be better off making the content accessible to guests, just restrict guests from posting, that way potential members get to see what your forum is all about before having to register, you will also get indexed better by search engine bots, making your site easier to find on the likes of Google and Yahoo.

Ok ive changed the settings so guests can now view posts.Not much there at the mo,sites brand new.

The problem with the subject content is that the content is not specific to any subject.

Yes, it's easy to navigate, but I think the site would do better with content open to the public.
