Help with colour change of username
Hi all,
Apologies if this is a real basic one but I am pretty new to vBulletin. I simply would like to change the text colour of the username under the thread title from the blue to black. Would anyone be so kind to tell me how I can do this, whilst retaining the link colour of everything else (just need to change the colour of the blue username under thread title, not on the right hand side). Thanks very much. |

Hi, thanks. Is there no easier way?!
I only want to change all usernames from blue to black. The product looks like I can change many usernames to different colours. |

There probably is a way but the usernames are links to the users profiles so to separate the links for Usernames from every other type of link would mean some changes to the stylevars.
I'm not sure how you would go about that to be honest, but I wouldn't have thought it would be an easy thing to do unless you are very familiar with vBulletins code. |

OK. vbulletin.com forums are the perfect example:

Ah right, is that your default skin?
My default skin shows the same as VB.com although, I'm using HTML Markup by Hassan so the usernames on this example show the colour of the usergroups there associated with. |

Hi mate. Yes it is the default skin. Not sure why mine's blue and all others are black by default. I did use some code to remove the 'Started by' and the date to clean it up a little though.
