Hi
Am in the process of getting a new VPS setup Some questions After reading this post by Lynne I have some questions for when i buy a VPS for vB 4.07 with vBseo CentOS what version should i (or is best) use? vB requirements state * PHP version 5.2.0 or greater * MySQL version 4.1.0 or greater But what version is best / stable for running my vB on Whats the Best settings for * Wait Timeout * Memory Limit * Max Execution Time Any other settings i should ask the host to pre-set ? Are there any links to some decent server settings for optimum vB boards on a VPS? |

If you are getting a VPS, then I would suggest posting in the Server Configuration forum after you are set up. I think George usually suggests starting with the wait_timeout around 90 and then increasing it by 60 if that causes problems.

Sorry, but I am unable to move a post from vbulletin.org to vbulletin.com. Also, you will need to read the stickies at the top of the forum before posting since they request you give them some information if you want help.
