Well, I moved my forums to amazon web hosting and I can't get php emails to work, so I setup gmail smtp and it sends registration emails fine. But there's a limit and I can't send out mass newsletters. Today, I was approved for Amazon email services yet can't figure out how to make this work. Anyone know what to do? Maybe a premium mail service so that I can send alot of emails for cheap? Thanks.

Hard to believe you're the first person to host a vb on Amazon. Have you done some searching at vb.com? Have you asked the host (if they offer managed servers)?

Well, we were growing big and our competitors didn't like it all that much so we would get ddosed constantly. Old old host suspended us for mysql abuse. So we moved to Amazon and host the site on linux for better security.
I think I found out what I need to do with emails. A couple ssh commands. |
