Hover background color for thread listings?

I'm trying to make it so that when you hover over a topic the table row changes color. I've tried several variations for selectors and I am coming up short. Any ideas?

EDIT: I really thought threadlisthead.color:hover would've been right but it doesn't seem to be. This is what I'm using.

background-color: #E9E9E9;}

Not to sound smart however....

This could be the 21st thread posted about this... Wow, I'm shocked check my sig for the Search tip and look up the word tact .

Edit vbulletin.css OR additional.css and add:

.forumrow:hover, .threadbit > div:hover { 
background: #FF0000 !important; }

Change #FF0000 to your color of choice so it's not red .
