Thread Display
Hi Guys,
I have a main "Videos" forum with 5+ sub-forums attached to it. My thought was that any thread created in a sub-forum would also be shown/displayed in the parent (Videos) forum (The same thread, not a duplicate). I realized this is not true and vbulletin.com support told me to come here and ask for help. (Although I swear I've seen this dozens of times before) What I'm trying to accomplish above is allowing everyone interested in :"Videos" to be able to see every video posted in the subforums (By looking at the parent forum), without having to go into every single subforum to see if there's a new post they missed. It's time consuming. But the purpose for the subforums is to let people (who want to) narrow down what they want by going into the subforum if they want to. Pink videos, blue videos, green videos, etc. The comparison is to that of WordPress categories. The blog shows every post from every category so users can scroll through but if they want to, they can narrow by category... I'd like my parent forum/subforum to have that same functionality. Makes more sense... Can anyone help me with this? Thank you, Jennifer |

That fix should work, or check out this mod for a more robust solution:
