Hi guys,

I just activated again from our site albums. I already set it on User profile: check album. And then also set to can view and etc to yes on usergroups. But still when viewing pictures I still get a user permission req warning. Any option from admincp i forgot?

Do you have all the options under Usergroup Manager > usergroup > Edit > User Album Permissions set to Yes or which are Yes and which are No? They need to be able to View Albums. Also, remember that the users themselves can set it up so only Friends/Contacts can view it (when creating the album, they can set it to be Private instead of Public). So, you might want to check that.

All are set to yes except Follow Picture Comment Moderation Rules. It was weird because I was viewing my own album.

I also have a question about the pictures. My attachment storage type is set to database so when uploading images I used url links coming from imageshack for example. The pictures were not showing and it only shows text. I am a newbie on vBulletin. Any recommendation? Sorry I didn't check on other threads on this forum but hope you can help me please.. I've been configuring it for 2 days but still can't find a solution.

If you have it on in User Profile Options, then it should be on. You may want to look at User Profile: Album Options also and make sure those options are set so pictures show. I don't understand the issue with imageshack at all as I never upload from there. Is your link a valid image link (ending in .jpg, .gif, etc)?

Im uploading valid jpg. I can upload now something wrong with the manage attachment so i change to Enhanced Attachment Uploading off. Now I can upload but the images are not showing. Any thoughts?

This should work whether attachments are in the database or filesystem.

I don't understand the status right now. You said you were getting a no permission error and then you switched editors and now you aren't? That doesn't make sense as viewing the albums page should not care what sort of editor you are using.

How about a link to see the album page with the images that aren't showing?
