This has to be a feature (one would think), but for some reason it doesn't work.
Scenario: - I have a user listed in Primary Usergroup A, which determines what forums they are able to see. - I want to put that user in an Additional Usergroup that will let them see one of those forums they are not allowed to see due to being in Primary Usergroup A. It's basically a special forum for those who donate to the board. They will only be allowed to see this forum if they are part of the 'Donators" Additional Usergroup. How can I make this work? I have the user set to Primary Usergroup A, the display set to Primary Usergroup A, and have the Donators checked in the Additional Usergroup. However, they are still not able to see that forum. I should note that I have the forum as not viewable to the Primary, but have all permissions set to Yes for the Additional. Ideas? |

That sounds exactly how mine is setup (and working.)
In Forums & Moderators -> Forum Permissions Is this where you have set the primary group to not see the forum, and the secondary to see it? |

Yes, there was one part I was missing though. The primary group needed to allow for additional usergroups. Stupid mistake on my part. lol
