is there a listing of all the templates, description and necessity of them or anything of that sort?

i want to create a style from scratch, but can't even get past the header. it used to be header_include, header, navbar and that's it. now there is header_global_ads, etc.

is it just:
header
navbar
WHATEVER
footer

so can i still place all my links into the header and completely skip the navbar? or do the links have to go in the navbar now?

The header_global_ads is for you to put your advertisements in.
